BLOOD PRESSURE

      The heart pumps blood throughout your body via blood vessels (arteries).  Blood pressure is the measurement of the pressure or force inside your blood vessels with each beat of the heart.  Blood pressure is written as two numbers.  The first number is the systolic pressure.  Systolic pressure is the pressure in the arteries when the heart beats and fills the arteries with blood.  The second number or the bottom number is the diastolic pressure.

 House Bill 125… How does it affect credentialing? 

Adopts the CAQH Credentialing Form.

             A physician will only need to fill out one credentialing form, either written or online, and update it as needed.  All contracting entities (other than hospitals) seeking to credential a physician must use the same form and cannot request additional information as part of the credentialing process.

  1. Use automated phone systems and routine postcard reminders.
  2. Have penalties for missed appointments, no-show fees and even dismissal from the practice.
  3. Use modified schedulers open or access models
  4. The worst way to over book is doubling up on existing appointment slots.

HOW TO DEAL WITH CONFLICT

 

             Dealing with conflict is something we do every single day in our life.  Sound odd?  Think about the places we go, people with whom we interact with at work, home, school. The key is to treat a “potential” conflict, such as a discussion with an employee as a team building experience.  How about the co-worker who comes to work late, in a bad mood and forwards all calls to voicemail?  Could these two situations turn into conflict?  Absolutely!
